Anyone used cryozoom?

I am due to start a frozen cycle and need to use an IVF courier. The centre has recommended cryozoom or Kynisi. Cryozoom doesn't seem to have a website. Has anyone here used them?

I am too, this very minute, looking at both Cryozoom & Kynisi & so far found very bad reviews about Kynisi & no website for Cryozoom.

kynisi.blogspot.co.uk

I'll keep looking into Cryozoom & an alternative to Kynisi.
best wish

Thanks shamm. I keep wondering whether it's better to do it myself (my clinic allows for that) but I'm worried I'd be a nervous wreck

I was just thinking this myself Dan216 but like you, I feel stressed by this process already so probably not the best idea.
Also the google listed number for Cryozoom no longer works, or rather they can't be reached on that number but the girl that answered tgave me an email address [email protected] & a mobile number which doesn't fill me will confidence.
May I ask what country are you transferring from & to?

Both my centres are in London; which is where I live so that's why I was considering self transfer

I am looking and can't find Cyrozoom either so I am dismissing them, my Greek clinic has also recommended IVF Couriers but at the mo looking at £1200+ potentially. Both they and Kynisi say possible cheaper if they have others at the same time so I have to see if they have over the next 2 months. I don't think taking it yourself is safe, its precious cargo and needs to be handled properly, what if delay or something on plane, I would have no idea what impact that would have or what to do!

DON'T USE cryozoom! We were recommended these by our clinics (Homerton and Dundee), but they are TERRIBLE, I contacted them in early Jan, paid them in early Feb, still waiting for transfer and it's mid March. Totally disorganised, never get back to us, seems liek a dodgy one man band called Sunil Gossai - don't go there. It adds an extra layer of anxiety to what is already a stressful process.

Hi LizardK, I hope this finds you well. My name is Anna Louie Sussman and I am a journalist (and IVF patient) writing about IVF courier services. I am using one myself to send eggs from Italy to Spain, and became interested in this little corner of the fertility world. I would love to hear more about your experience with CryoZoom. My email is annalouiesussman at gmail.com. Thank you! All the best, Anna

I would like to strongly recommend AGAINST using Cryozoom. We were grossly misled and let down by Sunil who seems to be the only person at this dysfunctional and unprofessional organisation. After being promised certain dates for a transfer and paying significant fees to both our clinics in London and Sydney to facilitate the transfer - not to mention the reams of paperwork you need to fill in for regulatory reasons in both countries - Sunil went missing just before the transfer was due to happen so we missed the dates we needed the frozen eggs to be transferred by. This is after nearly 3 months of frequent discussions. It was one of the most stressful weeks of my life when he was not responding to emails or calls. He eventually popped up a couple of weeks later saying "no big deal, we'll fly them out next week instead"...which was too late for us as we had needed the eggs to arrive so we could batch them together with the fresh IVF process and egg retrieval I was running. Obviously as anyone invovled in the IVF industry would well know, the stimulation and retrieval process can't be put on hold mid-process! Mercifully we did get one successful embryo from the fresh process which is now in second trimester - but if that hadn't worked out our Plan B for having a baby would have been completely dashed. We are still more than a thousand pounds out of pocket from his time-wasting.
