Hi,

Is anyone else currently on their 2ww for ICSI etc? What symptoms are you having and how are you feeling? Feel like I’m going mad and generally horrible with cramps, nausea etc. Would be nice if there is other people around that are in the same boat so we can help each other through it.

Hi. I am in the tww too. I had two day 3 embryos transferred yesterday. This is my 3rd fresh ICSI cycle and I no longer trust myself to symptom spot! When was your transfer?

Hi, my transfer was 1 embryo last Saturday. This is my first round of ICSI. I feel like I'm going out of my mind with the wait and the symptoms from the progesterone aren't helping. 🙁

It's sooooo hard waiting. The best thing to do is just keep busy. Do you have some nice things planned for the weekend? When is your OTD?

Me too. My doctor really struggled to find my follicles so I’m still hurting a lot from egg collection, it hurts to cough! Trying not to focus much on the chance of being preg as embryologist basically said it’s a v long shot based on the one egg we managed to get to do something. So bit down obvs.

Hi all I'm in my 2WW too - transferred 1 3 day embryo last Friday - my official test day is a week today but planning on testing a day early.

Progesterone is making me a bit crazy and weepy! My boobs were really sore but feel less so today which I'm thinking might not be a great sign.

You never know boiing. It only takes one. That being said I know not wanting to get your hopes up.

struggle... I'm the same with the progesterone. Weepy mess!

My OTD is a week a Monday- so 11/12. I'll probably test on Sunday though. Don't want to test before work!

Progesterone is evil as far as I'm concerned. In my husbands words 'you look 5 months pregnant already'. That along side the insanely sore/ huge boobs, the stomach cramps and constant nausea is driving me round the bend. 🙁 I'm hopeful but think I'm expecting the worst for Wednesday. Hoping my expectations are wrong obviously. Think it may in part be down to the stomach cramps that are make me feel like AF could start any minute. 😳🙁 Has anyone else had any of these symptoms? X

I had the insanely sore boobs, stomach cramps, constant nausea, and all day headaches during the 2ww whilst on progesterone - got my bfp! I was on progesterone for the first 16 weeks, and had period pains frequently during all this time - seems to be a popular side effect. Midwife & Drs said that as long as I'm not bleeding it's all ok. I'll be keeping everything crossed for you all, good luck!

E20 I have all those symptoms too. I also feel really tired. I keep reminding myself it will all be worth it for a bfp!

Been extremely tired the whole time as well. Averaging about an extra 4 hours sleep every 24hours then normal. Just hoping that it all goes ok. How is everyone else feeling now? X

Thanks Bluebird3. Interesting everyone’s so tired and weepy - me to but wasn’t sure if it was the progesterone or not! I keep waking up at 4.30am then going back to bed for a couple of hrs in the middle of the day, v weird and annoying. And crying at basically any movie. For a while I thought the latest films were all really moving but on reflection it is probably the drugs...

I'm still tired and weepy. I had been feeling a little nauseous but that seems to have passed now. Not sure if that's a bad sign? I have quite sore boobs still. My last transfer was a bfp but ended in a mc of a suspected ectopic. I had really bad implantation pains with that, but haven't had any this time. Not sure if that's good bc that was because it had implanted in the wrong place, or bad that nothing has implanted anywhere. I hate this waiting. When does everyone test?

Hi, I had a 5dt on Monday and the time seems to be going so slow now!! Have been told to test next Friday which seems ages away! Have also had cramping and felt nauseous and had really sore boobs. This really is the worse part of the treatment!! Good luck everyone xx

Can I join? I'm 6dp2dt and the wait is killing me! Is everyone waiting until their OTDs to test? Mines not til dec 18th, which would be 19 days after my EC - seems a bit excessive!

Hi, wishing you all the best and hope that you get the results you want. Will keep an eye on the feed to see how you are all getting on. I had my OTD yesterday and got a BFP. Now got the even longer more nerve wracking (so far anyway) wait until my 7wk scan. 😬

Hi, I am now 5dp5dt and have had some brown discharge. Has anyone else experienced this, am really worried that this is a sign that it hasn't worked and the clinic is not open until Monday so can't get any advice from the nurses!

Me too. From googling, it’s possible it’s a reaction to the cyclogest but who knows.

What tests are you doing? My clinic told me just to buy a urine test kit, but several other clinics said not to cos they’re unreliable (and to do blood trst instead). Seems odd.

Have been told to do a HPT on Friday and then if it's positive and I want it confirming I can go into the clinic for a blood test. Don't think I'll be able to hold out until Friday, feel like I'm going crazy. I want to do a home test because that's how I always envisaged finding out before we realised we had infertility problems. Wishing you lots of luck!
