MR SHEHATA PATIENTS

Had my first consultation going for the tests.....all of them. Hubby also going for sperm DNA test today with Sperm Count. What if he has bad results? Has anyone had results where their partner has issues and how does that get treated? My hubby and I already have two children together but as we have gone through failed IVF and 3 miscarriages they now want to test him. Things can change apparently. If it's not a good result will Mr S still treat me? I don't think its treatable? Another very important question .... with my IVF clinic it was discovered I have low progesterone and cyclogist was not enough. I was given gestone in addition and 4 pesseries a day. So even though I had a miscarriage in the end it was not due to low progesterone. Is Cyclogist Mr Sheheta only supplement and does he test progesterone? As it has never been enough for me?? I am just worried I will do his regime and then fail due to low progesterone? No one mentions progesterone testing frequency or any other drug but cyclogist. Many thanks for your help.

Can’t comment on dr Shehata. But for sperm fragmentation, there are supplements (like Proxeed or Profertil), Chinese herbs + lifestyle changes, eg no smoking or drinking, eating 8-10 or more of your 5 a day, loose pants etc.

I’m not sure what the doctor will do but he’s very well respected in his field so I wouldn’t worry about him understanding progesterone supplementation Grin
