Hello!

I can't believe this has had to move onto a new site!! :)

Hardy really sorry to hear about AF. But like everyone else, I’m keeping everything crossed for you.

Filipnam fingers crossed for tomorrow.

ElizabethCatherine so sorry to hear you have been back in hospital. I really hope you feel better soon xx

Star exciting you are starting! Enjoy pub food in rurality!

Minster Your puppy is SO CUTE!!!! Smile

I'm so in the market for stretchy trousers Grin although the massive bloating seems to have gone down now. I still feel a bit knackered though. Ages ago I signed up to do an agility course thing tomorrow. That now seems like a stupid idea...

Happy Saturday x

Atikakck I know, back home many woman stay in hospital the whole pregnancy to keep the baby! In this country they won’t even look at you when u miscarying that early. All they say is that body reject baby bcoz something wrong with it. That’s rubbish. I personally know people who stayed in bed in hospital whole pregnancy to keep it..

Dbear that's fab news !10 fertilised eggs are just amazing! Let us know how well they are growing 🌟

Yep it is my first time and learned most of the process thanks to you all and I am so very grateful, thank you from the bottom of my heart. I should start on the second day of my cycle, which should be around the 15th of November.

dbear 10 fertilised is great fingers crossed they keep going!! God I remember the horrible wait for phone calls, I hope they phone you early like mine did then u can get on with your day!

I may just get some stretchy trousers just for Xmas spread!! Especially after afore mentioned MIL fat comment!! 🤣Whilst looking after puppy tonight & this afternoon DH & I have polished off 2 ciders each & 1 bottle of red wine with our steaks & now on a gin (this puppy duty is TOUGH!!) she's snoozing with him on the sofa!!

We have also babysat my friend the next door neighbours 12 ye old twins who wanted to meet the puppy & ended up staying & watching a film with us (they are out & had asked if they cud leave our number in case of emergencies, then realised it was puppy night!)

star it's starting that's great don't worry you soon get used to the injections! The dog will get bigger, she's a Slovakian Rough Haired Pointer which is basically the size of a Weimaraner (& is a third Weimaraner) so a decent size, she'll soon outgrow my cockapoo (but no doubt he'll put her in her place!!) they are a very good working dog but also very loving, calm, affectionate & good in the home so not like most pointers/weims who are a bit stubborn hyper. So far she just wants to be cuddled so definitely affectionate!

filip lots of hugs for testing tomorrow, it will either confirm what you think or keep you in the game but sending hugs & puppy love! 🐶🐶

Elizabeth really sorry to hear you've been back in hospital that s pants, hope you keep getting better

No joy on puppy getting gin yet but only day one 😁

Good Morning Ladies! Again BFN for me...I did expect that though..

Now analysing what could have gone wrong as I did stay at home after egg collection then again after ET I was off work because of the half term so perfect conditions really...I have my assumptions like maybe I should have had 3 not 2 progesterone pessaries a day as originally when tested my progesterone was low...or it was just nature... I hope I will get some good answers during my follow up appointment.

Also I do not want to wait for too long to start my FET. Do you know how soon I can start? I have read that some ladies could start after only a month and some after 3 cycles. I try not to think about my First failed ivf and concentrate on the future, hopefully it will be more kind to me. Good Luck to the rest of you warriors!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Good morning!👋🏻 hardy

I hope everyone took full advantage of the extra hours 😴!

Thanks minster otters the wait is tremendous I really hope we get some embies and as you say hear in the AM🤞🏻

minster sounds like your having lots of puppy fun!

star your be fine, I worried a lot about starting IVF and the injections scared me but you do become immune to them. I found using an ice cube to numb the area first works a treat.

I had some side effects to the drugs mainly a decreased lack of patience and some days of night sweats but nothing too drastic.

I would reconmend that you make sure to include you OH as much as you can, get him to set up the drugs for you if your administering yourself make him feel like he is doing something.
I am lucky my DH was amazing and really read up on things he could do to improve his sample, he stopped drinking went out for runs, took proceed supplements. Doesn’t sound a lot but his first sample was border line and then on the day they had improved he was over the moon so just proves that every little helps!

He’s carrying on withall those things as we are being realistic that the first round may not be successful but it’s good thing as it keeps him focused and feeling manly 💪🏻

This forum is great I’m guttted I didn’t look to into this sooner and join at the beginning of my journey as it’s nice to speak to people who are going through the same thing.

I keep googling about egg development and day 5 transfers and how to get my lining thick any tips? I read that Brazil nuts, green tea, 🍍, 🥑 can help!?

Did anyone have a scan before transfer to make sure the lining was think enough? What is the right thickness? I read agin should be 12 but on EC day it was 9.3

Assume the pessaries help with too this right?

Gosh that was an epic message sorry! 🤦🏼‍♀️
Xx

filipiman I am so sorry to hear your news. Hopefully they will be able to some to a conclusion for you soon.

You have such the right attitude about consentrating on the future and getting yourself fighting fit for the next round like a true warrior does! 💪🏻

I have no advice to give you on when you can start FET assume the hospital will give you a time line.

I too am worried about my progesterone and maybe I need to find ways to up it!? 😬👏🏻

Filip, so sorry to hear it's a BFN, really gutted for you. I'm really starting to think that what we do or don't do has so luttle impact on the end result - if a little bean is going stick, it'll stick.

Harry, how are you getting on? Only a few more days to wait and I have fingers really firmly crossed for you.

Minster, that pup is seriously cute. DD has stopped asking for a baby brother or sister and is now on a mission to get a dog. I showed her your photos and she's smitten!

Dbear, that's fantastic news. Would a hot water bottle help with the discomfort? You've maybe already tried it but just in case you haven't.

I still haven't tested but am almost 100% sure I'm out as this is a fairly horrible, heavy period with lots of cramps - typical that bad news is accompanied by something so miserable. We're both a bit up and down. Yesterday wasn't good, we were both very subdued and down but today seems a bit better. The sun's shining and we're off to a local forest park shortly for a gruffalo and ghoul walk followed by pumpkin carving.

We had agreed before starting IVF that we were close to the end of this journey but wanted to give IVF a go so at least we would know we had tried everything. We both still agree that we now need to move on and enjoy the life we have with DD. We don't have any frozen embryos and my response wasn't great which is actually helping me to move on. The DR also found an endometrioma on one of my ovaries which helps explain our difficulties as from what I've read, if you have it on your ovaries it's very likely that you have endometriosis elsewhere.

Anyway, how many BFP's are we still waiting on? Harry, Otters and Dbear? Have I missed anyone?

Thank you Dbear! Well if I give hope I might as well just stop this whole ivf process now;-) I am 34 so now or never..My only two issues were/are one Fallopian tube blocked and low progesterone level, other things were all perfect according to the clinic..

I will be definitely raising the issue of progesterone level during my follow up app. I believe for a person who normally has a low progesterone level the dose should have been increased??!! Maybe I am totally wrong and they did take it into account but I just don't understand why some ladies had to take progesterone pessaries 3 times a day...?!!!
