Hi all,

Sorry to post again so quick...but i think the advice here is invaluable....

After a recent 1st failed cycle (no blastocyst to transfer) I don't want to give up...so am thinking of next steps. I had an offer to move to work in Dubai, from mid December onwards...I planned to turn it down if my IVF went well...but as it hasn't, I'm now thinking - do I give my UK clinic a second chance...or do I try it in Dubai. I have had a look at Dubai clinics on the internet, but of course, if anyone has any experience of them or any advice about it...would be fab to hear it.

Thanks,

Don’t they have some other laws re IVF? Like you’re not allowed to freeze embryos? (I don’t actually know but have heard something along those lines).

In your position, I’d prefer to do another round in the UK or elsewhere in Europe as there are many great clinics around here. I know a lot of couples travel for IVF to Greece - would that be more accessible from Dubai?

Are you married? It's illegal to be pregnant and unmarried in UAE. Check out all their laws before going, some are quite shocking.

Also, I don’t know how strict you and your partners have been with your lifestyle, diet, supplements and complimentary therapies before your IVF but I’ve generally found my lifestyle go to sh** in a new country until I got settled.
