Hi girls

Had my lap yesturday my ovarian cyst had shrunk but the surgeon removed endometriosis.

This explains why I've been suffering In pain all these years and infertility.
Relieved but feeling ill now
I'm now home

My dr has been amazing previous hsg showed right blocked tube he has managed to save it and now both tubes are clear💙

He has removed most of the disease.

He is starting me on clomid straight away I'm so excited but then so nervous

I will be monitored throughout the 6 months

I hope this Will be it after nearly 3 years

I'd love to hear something positive and I hope you're well and closer to getting what you really want

Love Sarah

Similar story to me.

I finally got pregnant after almost 3 years of trying which ended in MC. At the MC they found I had ovarian cysts and I had urgent surgery as the cysts were huge. During surgery they found that I had endo (which I had suspected for years!!). I was told to start trying again asap as the endo would just get worse and cysts eventually return.

I had an appointment booked at fertility clinic but first month of trying I got pregnant! I'm now 13 weeks.
I know I'm very lucky to have gotten pregnant straight away after the laparoscopy but I want to give you some hope that it can happen! I never believed that I could get pregnant after so many years of trying but here I am!
Best of luck xx

Hi foreverhopeful

That's amazing to read

It's exactly How I am feeling after nearly 3 years and endless bfn I'm sure I'll never get a bfp I hope I will
Dr told me to start straight away I'm day 3 post op now and still really tired, pain isn't as bad but im scared to get down to business Incase it hurts.

I have always wondered why I wasn't ovulating but endometriosis obviously stops you.

I'm so excited for you are you finding out the sex ? Xx

Three days is still early so just rest up. I think it took me over a week before I felt like myself again ...although I remember swelling didn't go down for ages.

Technically I skipped my first ovulation as it was quite soon after the surgery so we didn't bother trying - I was far too uncomfortable. So I had one period shortly after the lap and then we decided to really go for it with trying.
We dtd a lot during fertile week (including day of ovulation)! Literally 6 consecutive days of sex, which is not my cup of tea!! But bingo two weeks later positive pregnancy test.

I also wanted to say that my friend who has endo had laparoscopy at the end of last year and she's now pregnant too. It took them a little longer but she got there in the end. So don't feel upset if it doesn't happen right away. Your op sound like they were able to do a lot so fingers crossed!!

Hi, I'm in a similar boat. I'm on the waiting list for a lap, dye and endo ablation. I've "only" been ttc for 2 1/2 years, my ds took 4 years to conceive which I got my bfp he day before i was due in for an HSG.
