Is it me or why are there all these people who get pregnant despite contraception?

Just that really. I'm not currently ttc - but have been there - doing ivf etc so I sympathise with everyone on this board and wish you all well. I identify best with this board and I hope this question doesn't upset anyone. When I've lurked on other parts of mumsnet I can see that there are loads of posts from people on the pill/other contraception who seem to have got pregnant despite this . Is it me? Is everyone else mega fertile? Ridiculously and laughably I'm now worried about this- I m in a place where I m not ttc anymore and am taking the pill- but only a few short years ago we were struggling . I posted this question here for some balance- it's not easy to get pregnant - sometimes bloody impossible! How does this happen to people?! Do they miss pills and stuff or are there just super fertile people out there?
