Secondary infertility: private investigations?

Dear All,
My GP referred us to the subfertility clinic at the PRUH due to secondary infertility late last year and we were lucky enough to be given an appointment in late January. Following that consultation, I was put on the waiting list for a laparoscopy and hysteroscopy and I have discovered that they will be unable to offer me an appointment until August or September. As my 41st birthday grows closer, I am well aware that time is very much of the essence and we are hoping to get the funds together to have these done privately. However, where can we go?!
I have seen that Guys ACU offers a HyCosy as one of their self-funded investigations but without wishing to sound entirely clueless, I'm not certain whether this would be as thorough or as effective a procedure as the ones that I am on the waiting list for?
Any advice regarding this and any recommendations for clinics that offer private fertility investigations would be very much appreciated. We are London based. Many thanks.

Have a look on the HFEA website - I imagine that pretty much any private fertility clinic should offer appropriate treatments.

Thank you, JoJo. That sounds like a good place to start! If anyone has any personal recommendations or can enlighten me as to whether a HyCosy is an adequate substitute for a laparoscopy and hysteroscopy, that would be much appreciated too!

if the hycosy goes smoothly and you get the all clear they are perfectly adequate for checking the uterus and that the tubes are open.
A hycosy won't tell you if you have abdominal adhesions or endometriosis (for these you'd need a laparoscopy). Also it isn't uncommon for a hycosy to give an uncertain result, do then you'd have a hysteroscopy (this happened to me twice!!).
