Trying for #2 with endo after IVF and premature birth

Hi all, I'm just after some opinions really. I have stage 4 Endometriosis, and have lost a tube to it. We started trying in 2012 and after 4 surgeries, 2 lots of Zoladex, one MMC in 2014, and one very lucky round of IVF. we finally had our DD.

However, the pregnancy wasn't easy. I spotted from 7 to 17 weeks, had 4 red bleeds and was diagnosed with a Subchoronic Haematoma. This resolved on its own but our DD was born spontaneously at 31 weeks after my waters broke early. She was healthy, just very little, but after her birth I had to go to theatre as my placenta wouldn't deliver and then I haemorrhaged.

She is now 5 months old and I've just had my first post baby AF (I'm exclusively BF) which made me think about trying for #2.

My question to you is, if you were me would you try again? Tbh I feel so incredibly lucky to have our DD (when I'm not worrying about her) after everything it took to get her, but we've always wanted more than one. I'm 29 so have time on my side and my AF wasn't painful at all which I wasn't expecting, as with my endo usually I'm doubled over, so I'm wondering if the disease is hibernating for a bit.

Any opinions welcome! (Sorry this is long and rambling, I didn't sleep much)

I think if you are not scared of possibly going through all of the above again then neither am I :)

And time surely is on your side for now but not for very long. I have PCOS although I did not have any problems conceiving naturally but my periods were rare, long and painful to the point I had to call an ambulance.

When I had DS1 my doctor said that quite often PCOS "goes away" after the birth, hormones tend to balance and periods become more regular etc.
And indeed it happened to me. I was breastfeeding and TTC for DD2 and fell pregnant when DS1 was 6 months old.
My periods were spot on for couple of years till they slowly went pear shaped again.

Although endo is not PCOS but there might be some truth in "after labour normalising". I would try again as you might find that if there is a better time it might be now.

You might want to ask for a scan or tests from your GP and see if that shows any temporary improvement in your condition.

Thanks for replying! I think I am scared but the reward is so worth all the stress and worry. Might be sensible to see my Doctor for his opinion, and then just see what happens I guess!
