Has anyone recently started a cycle. I had a fet on Tuesday 8/11/16 and had spotting prior to this and then today a gush of bleeding. Has anyone else experienced this ? It's now completely gone. I'm so confused. I'm hoping its implantation bleeding but after my last fet failed and first fresh attempt resulted in early misscarriage I'm so scared this time has failed as well.

This is my third attempt. Can not stop worrying nothing is taking my mind of it either. 22nd which will be 14 days although I'm sure it would show up at 10 days as it did last time. I was told frozen transfers sometimes take a day or two longer so
I will wait the whole 2 weeks.

Hi ladies, Can I join you? I'm also in my 2ww (well 9 day wait apparently) I had my first FET on 10/11. I had a freeze all from my first IVF cycle which I actually had in July! Had various issues to try and overcome before getting to ET! My OTD is a blood test on Saturday 19th.

H2016, I had brown spotting and cramps. 2 days before my ET. They checked my progesterone and it was low at. 11.2. They put me on a daily progesterone injection in addition to the cyclogest and the next day (after 2 jabs) it was up at 316 so I made it to ET. On the day they gave me an infusion to stop the cramping and I'm taking a buscopan 3 times a day to help with the cramps. Since the initial spotting before FET I've had none but I have been getting the cramps but only in the evening...I'm freaking out currently actually! I'm going back on Monday for another progesterone blood test so let's see - although I think it's ok as the spotting hasn't returned and my boobs are super sore which I know the cyclogest always makes them as it did when I did my IVF cycle before (which didn't end up in ET). I'd call your Dr and get a progesterone test and then they can always up your meds if needed. Sorry I can't help any more than that.

What's your stories ladies? What have you transferred etc xxxx

H I have everything crossed for you, hopefully you will find an activity or hobby or something to throw yourself into for the next 2 weeks Smile
Easier said than done I know... I'm only on day 1 and been looking at baby names and everything! Hmm

Hi lolly yes course, please join.
I bet you're so pleased that you can finally go ahead with julys embryos with all your problems getting to ET! Bless you.
Is this your first cycle?

I have no interesting back story really.
26 years old, TTC 4.5 years, first IVF cycle.
EC on 9/11 where 14 eggs were collected. 7 survived. And by this morning (day 3) there were 3 viable high quality embryos but no serious leaders to push to blastocyst - so my embryologist advised transferring 2 embryos today.
OTD is 26/11 which is perfect as that is the day I land back in the uk from my weeks holiday in New York!

Oh how amazing! What a lovely way to pass the time! I love NY especially in the winter/Christmas time.
What are you doing with the 3rd embryo? Waiting to see if it gets to a blast?

I had 5 blasts frozen from my IVF cycle and 2 put back on Thursday!! This is my first ET and the July IVF was my first IVF cycle. I'm 29

This trip has been booked for 18 months, if not more, and when we found out that we would be ready for October/November treatment it's all fallen around the same time!
It's my first time visiting New York, and I'm so excited! I've got a huge list of things I want to do over there, probably won't have time to do them all!
It will be thanksgivings day & Black Friday while we are over there aswell so that will be interesting!

Oh sorry, I forgot to mention my 3rd embryo! It was viable to freeze so at least we have one to use at a later date.

That's great, seems like we are on similar timescales & situations!
How are you feeling in yourself?

Hi welcome :) I've been ttc for seven years. 3 miscarriages in that time. 6 laparoscopys so far due to stage 4 endometriosis. The spotting is just brown and hardly there now so the clinic think it may be implantation bleeding. I am now on the injections as they think I may not have been getting as much progesterone that I need via the cyclogest. Apparently the injections work quicker or something ?? This is my third attempt but still from the same cycle. First fresh cycle was in December 15 ended in early misscarriage. Second cycle March 16 failed. Went for third attempt in May ended up being cancelled due to a problem with my tubes which I had removed on 7th October. Frozen egg transfer 8th November test date 22nd I'm praying really can't cope with anymore heartache.

H2016 they said the same to me with the progesterone jabs so I'm sure they'll do the trick for you. You poor thing sounds like you've really been through it. Hopefully the bleeding is then a good sign! When are you testing or finding out?

Kez, you'll have a fab time in NY. So much to see and do! It really is a super cool place!
That's great you've got one in the freezer too, hopefully for a sibling!! When are you testing?

So we've all transferred two?! Eeekk!!

Given this last month taking meds and getting ready for FET has been the worse time of my life. Every day bad news and issues I actually feel more calm than I did getting there. at many points I never thought we'd get to ET so I feel really grateful to even get this far. I kind of feel like I've done all I could do and we've tried everything we can do now it's up to them! I'm trying to prepare myself for the worst otherwise I think I'll have a breakdown! The drugs make you feel awful so I'm not doing any symptom spotting!

Lolly
I know I was very surprised to have 1 Frostie on my first fresh cycle, along with the 2 high quality embryos that were transferred.
Test date is 26/11 which is the day I land home! Hopefully the busyness of New York won't tempt me to test early!!
Wow sounds like you've been through the mill aswell bless you! With all your hurdles actually getting to ET.
Feeling the negatives of the progesterone already - bloating, cramping, sore boobs, always tired, achey back, constipated (tmi sorry). Just feel like a huge whale already.

Thank you kez. I hope you have a great time in New York. It will be nice for you to keep busy and hopefully take your mind off things. Don't test early tho. I'm very guilty of that. Now I'm 5dpt it's so hard not 2. :)

Hi lolly. Such a hard thing for us to go through. Brilliant you and kez have a Frostie for a later date!! The injections are painful for me where as when I had the fresh cycle they didn't bother me. Hopefully it will do the trick as u say :) fingers crossed. Due to test on the 22nd although that's 14 days so i will test before. I won't be able to help myself. Do u think you will end up testing early ? Try not to it u can help it.

Well I'm going in on Saturday for my blood test which will be 9dp5dt - they will then call be later that day with the results. I won't be testing early. I don't want the torture. I have been so drained by the constant up and down of getting to ET that I can't face the worry. I'd rather have a yes or no.
I'm trying to mentally prepare for a negative but when there's a bit of hope is humans tend to grab onto it so it's hard. I'm still feeling grateful to get this far. And to have 3 5 day Frosties still on ice.

Try and hang in there too! I'll keep you company! xxx

So u had yours transfered two days after me. ? I don't know why they told me to wait two weeks. I'll try day 10. Have you had any symptoms ? I'm getting so many twinges and a fullness in my uterus ( hoping I'm not imagining it ) out of breath just walking up the stairs and cry over anything however could be all the meds. My breasts are so sore like agony sore but can be the progesterone. Just hoping like you. It's kind of all we have isn't it apart from friends and family. Thank you I'm a complete wreck at the moment. :(

I have all those symptoms as well which I know is the progesterone. My boobs are so veiny as well! But it's the progesterone I know so I'm not reading anything into it! Literally just preparing for the bad news. Can't believe it could happen for me so hard to imagine if you know what I mean...

What stage were your embryos at when you had ET? Were they day 3 or day 5 embryos? Mine were both day 5....mine will be blood test rather than HPT but not sure if that makes a difference? To be honest I've no idea I'm just doing what they told me!

Trust me I know exactly what u mean. Don't think it's ever going to work for me. I'm sure u will be fine Hun I have everything crossed for you. As for the symptoms my boobs are like that as well. I am feeling different to my first attempt but again maybe my mind is playing tricks on me. I'm glad the spotting has stopped tho. It would be the right time for implantation but not getting my hopes up as I've been here before. Mine were also day 5 Hun. My clinic don't do a blood test unless I get a positive on the test at home.

I'm from Shropshire.

I had a day 3 transfer as my embryologist didn't think my 3 viable embryos would have made it to day 5 - they were right on the borderline quality to push forward to blastocyst.
That's why I had 2 transferred.
My heart says it's a fail though because they were only day 3 transfer & you read so many success stories being 5 day transfers.
We are realistic but obviously hopeful.
We have a 45% chance of pregnancy & 30% chance of twins. So it's literally just the flip of a coin.
