Advice needed?

Hi everyone

I'm currently seeing a fertility consultant at the moment and have been told my ovarian reserve is one. I had been recommended by some on here about trying coenzyme q10 but I'm worried about taking it as I'm epileptic & on tablets for type 2 diabetes. At the moment willing to try anything to prolong my eggs & better my changes. My husband and I have only been to two appointments.

I think you might have to ask a doctor about that one, sorry. I want to help but just don't know the answer. I took CO10 without problems but have no existing health problems. I can't see why it would cause difficulties but it's probably worth checking out.

I would check with your Dr but I have epilepsy and was fine with Coq10

The most important supplement to be on is prescription strength 5mg folic acid, because anti epilepsy drugs intefere with folate metabolism and thus increase the risk of neural tube defects

If you're not already on this, get some from your GP
