When to have day 3 bloods?

Anyone have any advice on what counts as cd1? I've read so many conflicting theories! A bit of spotting on Friday. Very light flow yesterday and today (slightly heavier today, but still don't need more than panty liner). Defo not full on period yet. Do I wait till full flow? Or should I count Saturday? So confusing!! Anyone know the consequences of getting the day wrong? I want my fsh as low as possible!! Thanks!!

I would say light flow yesterday is 1

Day 1 is first day proper flow, not spotting. Everyone is different so you will have to judge based on your own kind of normal. For me my day 1 is light, but is definitely there before turning to heavy on day 2. One day either side (ie day 2-4) shouldn't really change the result too much so don't worry if you're not 100% sure.
