I'm new to MN (still trying to work out what all the abbreviations mean!!). We've been trying to get P for 18 months but nothing. When I was 18 days old I had a fallopian hernia which the doctor at the time told my mother not to worry about. I've since mentioned it to my doctor. I've had all my bloods checked and everything is fine, my husband is fine and I'm waiting for a laposcopy. I've had one scan to look for cysts (they think they've found one and have another tomorrow. I'm on the NHS waitlist for a lapo which is up to 18 wks (March/April). I'm using an app to chart my cycle etc. This month I've had certain symptoms such as tender boobs and nausea so was quite looking forward to see if the scan tomorrow found anything only to get my period 5 days early (last time that happened was last April). I don't feel like I know whats going on with my own body. I just want to know whats going on. I'm trying to be really positive about everything, I've got plenty to keep my busy but I'm finding it so frustrating. Can anyone relate to me??

Yes! Even with all the charts, temping, ovulation kits and various other attempts at science/guess work, I still have no idea what's going inside my own uterus. I find it's the most frustrating part of TTC.

It's sounds like you're having a tough journey, best of luck with your scan and welcome to MN!

Thanks Magpie. I've stayed away from the ovulation kits as my 'app' coincides with the times in my cycle and I know this as my bloods were done based on the cycle dates on my app! Sounds so confusing! Trying not to get too 'involved' and stressed by it all but I just don't know what to do next? Do I go back to my doc and tell her how I feel? Do I sit tight and wait for my op date? Pah! Its pants!
