Scratch on day 2

I have been given an appointment for a scratch before our next ivf cycle, but if my period arrives on time the appointment will be on day 2.

Does this matter? I thought they were supposed to be done around day 21?

The receptionist did say they were busy the week before.

Any words of wisdom?

I'm starting to confuse myself. The clinic has just moved my appointment to day 21.

Does this sound right (obviously all dates are rough estimates)
26th Jan - scratch ( day 21 of Jan Cycle)
2nd Feb - period due - start taking pill for 3 weeks.
24th Feb - start injections (2weeks)
9th March - Collection

Ahhhhhhh why is everything so difficult to get my head around?!?

Hi Goingcrazy,
That sounds about right. I've not tried the scratch yet but from what I've read it's done on day 21 of your menstrual cycle the month before your IVF cycle - so what you have planned sounds great.
IVF is confusing and stressful. Look after yourself x

I had mine on day before stims started, but was already down-regged. Definitely later than Day 21, so try not to worry (am currently 14+1)

Thanks all, I have managed to change the appointment to Day 21. I guess there is some flex with the dates, but as this is our last go I don't want to be spat out the other end asking 'what if' so mentally for me it is a relief I have managed to change it.
