When to expect period after Zoladex 10.8mg?

Hi there

I was given the 12 week Zoladex injection in September for Adenomyosis. I'm just wondering when I should expect to have a period? I've been looking through forums and can only find the answers for the 4 week shot.

I'm due to have a hysterectomy at the end of April but kinda hoping there's a baby in there before then. I've got to be honest I have no idea how it affects fertility or if mine is affected. I have 2 children where I fell early and had no complications so it's all a bit confusing at the minute!

Thanks so much in advance xxx

Not sure if this helps but I had the 4 weekly zoladex injections for 6 months and I am sure my period arrived 28 days after the last shot, so just like a normal cycle for me. So yours could arrive on the date you are due on according to your cycle (number of days of your usual cycle) after the end of the 6 months.
Hope this makes since

Also op has any other form of treatment been provided before the suggestion of a hysterectomy?
I have endo and had zoladex for 6 months and then referred for IVF but conceived naturally after the appointment. We are ttc #2 now and I have read about maca root on the conception boards. It is said to increase fertility and also helpful to those with endo and adenomyosis. May be worth looking into

A friend of mine was diagnosed with Adenomyosis and was told she would need a hysterectomy, she changed her diet and cut out Wheat and now has 28 day regular periods with no symptoms and doesn't need her hysterectomy now :) Again, may be worth looking into ?
