Confused about vitamins and fertility

I've been ttc my second for over a year, with two miscarriages (one late) for each time I fell pregnant. I've been seeing a nutritional therapist to help get me back on track and as such take a cocktail of supplements at the moment. I was hoping to start ttc again after a 6 month wait to get my strength back but have just read some alarming stuff about vitamins and miscarriage. The nutritionist just said to email her when I'm pregnant again and she'll take me off most of the things I'm on, but I'll have been pregnant a few weeks before the test shows up as positive. Does anyone else have experience of this sort of situation? I just feel like giving up at the moment - I've spent so long getting better and now the various supplements I've been taking that have helped me could ironically lead to another miscarriage. Not sure what to do...

What sort of thing would increase MC rate?
I just take pregnacare.

It's vitamin A mainly I think and perhaps quantities of other things - vitamin A causes birth defects apparently. Pregnacare is fine as it's specifically for pregnancy but the nutritionist has put me on things to help me recover from the miscarriages and get my cycles back, so not focussing on pregnancy

I would definitely stop the vit A while ttc.
Most mc are random genetic errors that can happen to anyone.
Things like thyroid issues and pcos can also increase the risk.
There is a limited amount that can be done with vitamins.
It might be worth having a check you dont have any hypothyroidism or hyperthyroidism symptoms.

Vit a is a no!

Where did you find this nutritional therapist, I would be sceptical taking anything unless the vitamins and supplements are scientifically tested and proven.

I did a lot of research before my ivf cycles and the ultimate vitamin is coQ10. Pregnacare for you and dp as well obviously.

As you have been ttc for a yr with two miscarriages it's time to go to gp. I would ask for the recurrent mc blood work and the other normal fertility ones ie progesterone etc.
