i started ivf injections and had the scratch on 27th may and was supposed to have a bleed after and my baseline scan on wednesday 4th june, but no bleed appeared so everything was moved forward a weekand i have a baseline scan booked for tuesday 10th june, but still no bleed, i'm still doing injections, i was very excited and nervous to be starting treatment as this will be my one and only chance but now i'm worried i've done something wrong and it will all be cancelled!! has anyone experienced this before??

They can induce a bleed with meds, also if they didn't cancel (which I'm sure they won't) they wouldn't class it as a cycle unless your stimulation phase had started, at least that's how my clinic judges it

I'm on my 3rd cycle now

i'm on down reg injections, the tablets don't start til i've had baseline scan, its all a bit complicated as i'm having ivf nut using donor sperm and donor eggs, so now everyone is waiting for me!! good luck with your 3rd cycle btw

Ah I am too, donor eggs not sperm, I know plenty of people who had an induced bleed, oddly I was also waiting for the other recipient to have a bleed too before she started and that delayed us

I'm DR now too

I'm 30, using donor eggs due to endo putting me in early menopause, last 2 cycles were own egg 1 failed and 1 cancelled, luckily I'm nhs funded at a private clinic, I'm so so thankfull for that

What are your reasons for donor treatment?

And I bruised a few times on my first side but not on my left oddly, I alternate every night

Sideshow, I started a donor conception thread if you want some company. I think dr can make things go off track but I'm sure it will work out. So many little hurdles aren't there?

Lauren83 i'm a single straight woman that just hasn't found a life partner yet, i've worked with children for over 20 years now and my line of work you just don't meet many males!! so that's reason for the donor sperm!!
having looked after so many different children over the years it would be nice to have one of my own, plus my ovarian reserve is too low for a variable egg so that's why the donor egg too!!
yes i have been alternating between tops of thighs and stomach, so i have 4 different places but i bruise easierly anyway so it's probably just me!!

It's the All Things Donor conception thread in this section of mn. It's a bit quiet at the moment, we are a rare and special thing Smile
