Hi ladies

Placemarking on the new thread (if I'm still allow to stay)?

My goodness, what a shit start to the week you ladies are having! Sorry about all the bfns and witch arrivals...seemingly all so close. Are you all syncing??

As for me, the high of the BFP has now worn off and I am now in menkul city - pushing my boobs every 10 minutes to see if they're still sore (they weren't at all sore this morning but the tenderness has gradually returned). For some reason, as I have no other pregnancy symptoms, I am reassured by having sore boobs. And when they aren't sore, I panic a little bit. Can't believe it's only been a week since the's going so slow. I reckon I am 5+4. Not seeing midwife until 27th May when I will be 7+5. If I last til then

I have got to stay calm....

Annie and Shoegal great to hear you're both progressing with the ivf route. We were about to do IUI. Have either of you considered that?

kurama Mon 12-May-14 18:35:02

im confused! the past 2 months ive been like clockwork with af on clomid . but it hasnt shown up yet today and is normally here by lunch on day im due..... boobs still sore and still feeling sick. ie been really up and down today i really dont know what to think or do after this morning bfn.... anyone got any advice?????

StoneBaby Mon 12-May-14 20:22:10

kurama poor you. Retest in the morning if af hasn't turned up?

annie and shoegal good luck with the ivf

I saw the nurse today who explained to me how to inject the gonal-f. It is to be started on cd2, been scanned most days to make sure the dosage is fine. Then may have another injection to release the egg. Once all this is done, it's iui.

Unfortunately I will not see the FC prior to af arrives (unless he gets a cancelation) so the injections aren't for this month.

kurama Mon 12-May-14 20:55:28

i think i will stone not sure iff ill have courage to actually look at the test tho! took a while this morn sad

j200 Mon 12-May-14 22:01:58

Hey ladies just checking in and wanted to say to Stone that the injections worked for me and you do get used to it- pm me if you need any moral support wink

I am 6 weeks tomorrow and have my early scan on Wednesday, like Fankle I am a boob prodder as so scared it's all a dream and going to get taken away.

There is hope ladies though please keep positive, I have fingers crossed for us all xx

Shoegal30 Mon 12-May-14 23:07:36

Thanks ladies although I'm not going for ivf.

I am getting a second opinion and will consider going private for assisted. I wanted advice on whether we should consider IUI or ivf.

J200 thanks for posting on here. It has been a crap start to the week for a lot of us but let's hope your good luck will rub off on us grin

Morning all
How are we all doing today?
I saw the GP yesterday and am having my prolactin levels checked. So yes am still resembling a fresian dairy cow.
I think stress is causing some of my problems too. Am
Run down, depressed, high stress job, shiftwork, huge huge huge exams in 4 weeks (you think im studying?)
Best of luck for everyone testing etc this week.

StoneBaby Tue 13-May-14 06:13:29

j200 thanks. I'm fine with the injections. I am used to inject due to other health problem.

kerrylou84 Tue 13-May-14 08:09:05

Hi ladies, thanks for the new thread stone xxx

ImpatientOne Tue 13-May-14 09:57:03

Sorry to be negative on the new thread but I'm out, temps down and started spotting yesterday an hour after I ordered more FRERs .

I will be carrying on with clomid but I don't think I will take it this month, depending on when AF actually kicks in. I am away with work and I think the bank holiday will be right when I need my hcg so think I might give it a miss this cycle?

Feeling ok today after full on sobbing yesterday blush no matter how much I tell myself not to get my hopes up, the disappointment is so crushing sad

Anyway I did have my longest luteal phase yet so at least that's something to be positive about smile

Shoegal30 Tue 13-May-14 10:15:53

Sorry to hear that impatient. Looks like a really horrible start to the week for a lot of us.

I am feeling a little better today after a delayed AF yesterday. It's good to hear from the other guys who have been successful on Clomid - it gives hope.

Kerrylou hope you're doing well. Am I right in thinking the month you got your BFP is when you had your marathon dtd session?

kurama Tue 13-May-14 11:00:44

impatient sorry for how your feeling. i felt exactly the same yest and id ordered more ics this morn just before i found blood when wiping (sorry tmi) sad
glad your feeling better shoe
i think the crampings starting now as well, so im gonna be phoning hosp this week to try and get in with gyni so i can talk about problems etc.

ImpatientOne Tue 13-May-14 11:06:39

Thanks everyone smile

Gingerbreadlady1 Tue 13-May-14 18:26:28

Sorry to everyone the bitchy witchy got, so disappointing when you're trying so hard.

serenity I've just found out the blood tests from nov & feb showed my prolactin to be around 900. I'm awaiting a referral from endocrinologist, that's the likely reason for my weird cycles. Just not believing the "touch of pcos" diagnosis. Until recently I've never had a single pcos symptom. I occasionally have a teeny secretion from nips, almost like a little white head, realise its prob been because of the prolactin. Do you have long/irregulars cycles?

kerrylou84 Tue 13-May-14 19:18:38

Yes you're right shoegal. Think it was every day for 20 days lol. Was knackered but very determined. I also had reflexology that month xxx

kurama Tue 13-May-14 21:37:52

lalala no bleeding today so far! back still hurts, nipples still sore, appetite still down and mood swings since yest.... tiny bit of bownish cm just now. im still in!!! grasping at straws that it could be late implantation and not my body being at nasty as it can be af hasnt been late on clomid for me before this month...

ridgway28 Tue 13-May-14 22:02:57

hi everyone hope ur all ok? I was taken into hospital today and had a scan my left overy shows 3 folicals but she said I havent ovulated yet. when will this happen in on day 14 of my cycle

Shoegal30 Tue 13-May-14 22:16:43

Oooh sounds promising kurama. Good luck, be nice if somebody on this thread gets their BFP this month. I've got my fingers crossed for you.

Kerrylou, I've just told hubby that we need to look at 20 times this month and he's happy. What day did you do reflexology? I've been doing acupuncture since Christmas. Do you think I should give reflexology a try too?

Ridgway, you can sometimes ovulate later so id carry on dtd to cover all bases.

AnnieHoo Tue 13-May-14 23:19:32

Kurama I am sending all the positive vibes I can to you.

kurama Tue 13-May-14 23:34:16

Thanks shoe and annie I have everything crossed that I find out I am by dhs bday on 21st. Would be sucha nice surprise for him. I actually woke up to him stroking my stomach this morn while he was asleepshock symptom???grin Lol

Gingerbreadlady1 Tue 13-May-14 23:50:35
