My story is I'm 39, naturally conceived last year but had a miscarriage at 8 weeks. My first pregnancy. So due to age we went to fertility clinic to have a check up. We're both fine but decided to go for IUI in May. Slightly nervous, angry I should have to do this as lost our baby, the clinic made me feel SO old and left me feeling shall I forget it. My DP is keen. Would love to hear others experiences or from ladies about to start on the same journey

I'm sorry for your loss and I'm sorry that the clinic made you feel bad.
I just had ivf at st Mary's in Manchester and at 40 they never mentioned my age or made me feel inferior to the younger women.
Don't let it put you off please. The odds are against us all at any age but you have to at least try

Thanks Suzylee

We went to Care in Manchester. Self funding as DP has two kids from first marriage. Just hoping this works as we can't afford to fund IVF
