I am not sure if it is Ok to post this here as it is not exactly infertility related. Basically I had a very difficult birth and post birth period, having 2 bad grand mal seizures after the birth which lasted over 20 minutes each. I am very lucky that these seizures didn't kill me or cause brain damage. I had no history of seizures before or since the birth so it is thought they were triggered by hormones. My DS has special needs as well - autism and ADHD. Because of this, we are considering surrogacy as an option to have a little brother or sister for DS. I just do not feel I can take the risk to my life especially not when I am responsible for a child with special needs. As far as I know, we have no fertility problems but I am 33 now and was 25 when DS was born. I was just wondering if anyone on here has done surrogacy, where can I find a forum to discuss it on. I want yo research options such as UK vs international surrogacy and am keen to use natural IVF where less drugs are used to minimise any hormonal reaction given my history.
