Overseas treatment

Has anyone tried overseas treatment? If so, where and what was your experience? Had you had treatment in the UK, prior?

I'm considering expanding my options. UK private clinics are abusing their position as clinicians, and becoming money-greedy monsters. They should be stripped of their title.

Thanks

I would recommend UZ Brussels in Belgium. I live in Belgium and they have managed to work a miracle with me after three failed cycles elsewhere. If you google the hospital (it's known as the CRG at UZ Brussels) you'll find all the info you need in English. They have a lot of overseas patients there, and they are brilliant.
HTH and good luck!

I used FIV Madrid (fivmadrid.es). They were excellent and very caring.

I'm having my treatment in Poland and my friend had hers in the Czech Republic. The Polish clinic is great - about 5x cheaper than in the UK, they work weekends and bank holidays so no risk of delayed treatment because the doctor is playing golf. I always see the same doctor and have his email and mobile number so can contact him any time with questions.

Just to add - I had an option of one free cycle in the UK but didn't go for it as the hospital we were offered was really bad - their average success rate was 20% lower than in the clinic in Poland.
