FET while breastfeeding?

We had DS1 after 5 years TTC and after IVF. We amazingly also got 7 embryos to freeze after this cycle and planned to use them in the future. After DS1 we had a natural miracle (along came DS2), and I am still BFing DS2, he is now 2.3 years old.

After much discussion and thought, we have decided to try for another baby. We have been TTC for 6 months now with no success (DS2 seems to truly have been a miracle!) so I am booked in for a FET this month. However, I am still BFing and I'm wondering if that could affect the FET in any way? Anyone had a successful FET while BFing?

Many thanks and I hope this thread does not make me sound insensitive or ungrateful for hoping for another baby, as I understand how hard it is TTC & I am truly grateful for my DS's. Good luck to everyone out there TTC.

When I was arranging my FET (which sadly failed) I was told I had to have stopped BF for 3 months. Good luck with yours!
