...Miaou, don't read this, OK?

It's a blog and this bit's full of random quotes about 7/7, particularly how good London is at getting on with it - "tea"!

Loved these bits:

"Speaking on behalf of the people of Essex, we are standing by you the peoples of Londonia in these trying times. Mainly because Suffolk won't swap places with us."

<<During the second statement by Blair, he was surrounded by the various heads of state and representatives to the G-8 gathering. And there stood ol' W, with the usual confused look on this face - likely wondering who had his copy of "My Pet Goat".>>

Yes I know, CD, but what else shall we call it? You come up with something snappy and I'll use that.

C'mon we don't have this for all our other previous terrorist attacks do we? How about "the recent london bombings" That would suffice

We don't HAVE to follow the US in everything, do we?

Janh Mon 11-Jul-05 17:43:46

Things people have posted on websites about last Thursday's London bombs, nutty. (Only next week it'll be "the Thursday-before-last's bombs" and then it'll be "that day when London got bombed the day after we heard about the 2012 Olympics".....)

CountessDracula Mon 11-Jul-05 17:44:04

(that's what got us into this shit in the first place!)

Janh Mon 11-Jul-05 17:44:16

What do we call them when they're not recent any more?

on the subject of the US and their crap we get over here, I had my first Krispy Kreme doughnut at lunchtime - BARF! What overly sweet, soggy crud that was!

Janh Mon 11-Jul-05 17:49:53

Oh, it's a joke - should have put a - I linked to a site with some dodgy pages the other day and said "don't click on these links" and she said she couldn't not

All Americans know that Dunkin Donuts are the good stuff -- or Shipleys if you happen to be a Texan.

BTW, I've never had a Krispy Kreme.
