emergency advice here

dottee Thu 07-Jul-05 13:45:23

Just to say my thoughts are with all MNers especially those who live in and around London and/or have family and friends there as well. It's so terrible and, if you don't mind me saying so by watching it on TV, surreal.

Thomcat Thu 07-Jul-05 13:45:36

Sorry Kid, not sure which of the 5 threads to us to see if all London mums are ok.

Thanks misdee, bless you babes. i'm fine. D is trapped in soho, not knowing what to do next.

beatie Thu 07-Jul-05 13:49:26

I heard, on local radio news, that Brighton station was closed due to a suspect package. The package was destroyed with a controlled explosion anout an hour ago. I don't know if the station has been re-opened yet - but that was the reason for it being closed down.

QueenOfQuotes Thu 07-Jul-05 13:52:12

just had a look at it and apparently I'm not able to give blood because in the last 12 months I've had sex with someone who has been sexually active in parts of the world where HIV/AIDS is very common (including Africa) - ie my husband!

Blu Thu 07-Jul-05 13:52:14
