But thinking about it - how do you drop a baby down the toilet - I suppose Indian toilets are different??
and what about the umbilical cord???

I was thinking about the umbilical cord to, surely mother and baby would have still been attached, unless it snapped or something with the sudden drop maybe?

cord could have snapped with such a sudden birth or the placenta could have come away really quickly too?

hmm, so the times reported that the mother fell unconcious and was discovered and then the baby was found 2 hours later.

this one reports that the husband saw his wife leap from the train and they found her after an hour with the baby by the tracks.

yes it is, this one was a baby boy, and the mother jumped straight out whereas the other mother had fallen unconscious in the loo and nobody found the baby girl for two hours later. the little girl later died unfortunately.

yeah i got confused when trying to find out more online, they are pretty similar cases and would have thought they'd have done something about their toilets by now.
