Our district council is behaving appallingly. They have broken rules and promises and done everything they can to ignore legitimate protests. Please come along and shout with us. The children from all the towns schools no longer have anywhere to go for swimming lessons. Yrs 3 and 4 at my DC school are due to have a term of lessons from next week - not any more! And guess what they are building on the site? Another supermarket! The old lido as bulldozed to make room for Safeway supermarket in the 90s - now the replacement pool is going the same way. Some brave souls had a sit-in last night and now the council are refusing to allow people into the pool in case they protestors are given food and supplies. Protestors were outside all night as well and it was freezing.

Tomorrow is our last chance to show how we feel. If you have the time please come along and shout with us.
