Anti-Muslim Youtube video debunked

Here in the BBC magazine. Some of the comments are very interesting, especially the comparison between this anti-Muslim feeling and the anti-Semitic movements before the Second World War.

I disagree with the comment about the number of hits showing how many people were anti-Islam.

Some years ago, I was searching for something related to Islam on the internet, and a site came up on google. I clicked on it and started reading. I didn't realise at first that it was an anti-Islam site, especially as it was very well presented, using polite, non-inflammatory language. Of course, I did realise, but by then, had I become part of a statistic like that?

How many other people, like me, have clicked on genuine-seeming links only to discover afterwards what they are really about? I expect that some of the hits for this video are like that.

It's odd that the BBC feel the need to debunk these things, but then can't actually link to them to allow people to judge for themselves.

Very patronising IMO.
