He's done it again. First the fly swat, now this. It simply isn't fair, is it?

Are you discounting the remarks he made about the 'black academic arrest' when you call him cool? Because to me that really tarnished his coolness!

Maybe he was dropping a hint it says his birthday is the same day!

I found it really funny right at the beginning when the photographer shoved the other guy out of the way when he saw Obama come in

Madame... I wasn't making a particularly serious point here. Sit back and take a broader perspective in the context of Bush et al. I agree his comments to which you refer were perhaps ill-judged, though.

Just re-read my last post - awfully sorry MC, it sounded a bit aggressive - was meant to be light hearted .

I would soooo do that man. (if I didn't adore and respect Michelle so much that is...).

He seems like a genuinely decent man.

Or he has a great spin team behind him....

I tell you what I think is really cool - that's she's still doing her thing at 89... Hooray for Helen Thomas...

Being cool is merely an added bonus to Obama. He's also very attractive.

Those features are an aside to his politics of course but make him more appealing and human.

for someone who is not a fan of obamma, he does seem like a genuinely nice guy, and this is a nice gesture.

just can't stand the hype that surrounds him and the fawning of the obamma-bots.

Interesting that women past the age of 50 are still working as news reporters in USA. Perhaps the BBC could follow their example.

but he's a democrat someguy (and he's young, hip and the media darling), so we have to assume he's doing these for the right reasons where as when bush did similar things it's because he's an evil dumb redneck.

Yeah the only difference between Obama and Nixon is that Nixon committed a felony in office and was impeached.

Any evidence that Obama has done this?
