no, the coroners have to wait a few weeks for the brain to harden up so they can do an autopsy on it..
I'm not sure I'd want to be buried/cremated without my brain.

you're probably right herbie...
did you read that article in the Sun? The coroners were saying that lots of brains were incinerated because people were buried without them shock

PerfectPrefect Thu 09-Jul-09 18:44:05

The Sun says he hasn't yet been buried....

They are apparently awaiting toxicology tests to see if painkillers caused heart attack..

This is all according to The Sun

Where is his brain? Surely it's Got To be There. Or does he think of it just as Another Part Of Me?

I ate it with some fava beans and a nice chianti....

I heard somewhere that, this is why the family won't bury him yet, until all results are in, and then brain popped back inside. He must be in a fridge somewhere, so possibly back at the mortuary.

ilovesprouts Thu 09-Jul-09 19:42:07

Really I think it must be very upsetting and stressful for the Jackson family to not be able to have the funeral

I'd forgotten this song but how appropriate it is!

Can take up to 2 weeks for the brain to be "fixed" so it is easier to take samples from.

Some people are buried without their brains, it depends on what the families wishes are.
