Couldn't have happened to a more worthy recipient.
Let's hope the other MEPs refuse to sit next to him.

Part of me is thinking how very childish and a tad thuggish.

The other part of me is applauding wildly and hoping the eggs were all rotten

Of course it's childish and not very grown up but Im delighted to hear it because it seems like the correct response in our ever-so-tolerant-winceyette-knickers society.

Laughing, jeering, throwing eggs is a fabulous thing to do to fascists.

I mean, what exactly is the point in rational debate with a holocaust-denier?

I am cheered by this because this type of direct action feels right in the face of Nazism - if only it were done in 1933.

They didn't beat him up, they didn't harm him - they humiliated him.

And I say good.

Well done those protestors - good on them!
I would gladly pelt Nick with rotten eggs myself!

Apart from being vile the BNP are just so crap at organising themselves! Had they even informed the police they were having a press conference that was likely to attract trouble? Why didn't they go for an environment that was easier to control? Instead they just rely on their thugs in suits and end up looking really stupid.

Good.

Of course it's inevitable I suppose - nobody who is capable of rational thinking would want to work for them!

At least the Holocaust Denier did not end up in the gas chamber

See, i don't think this is much of a cause for all rejoicing at all.

I'm no BNP voter but this is one of the major problems I have with the Left: all this endless preaching for as long as i can remember about tolerance, non violence, anti-censorship, but when it actually comes to really putting it to the test it all seems to fly out the window.

But that's ok isn't it because it's against people not like us, who don't think like we do and hold opinions that we really really disagree with even though they've been democratically elected. So that makes it ok to use violent acts to try and make them shut up and go away, doesn't it?

Er no actually it doesn't.
