What do we think of Caroline Flint?
(16 Posts)Here
Meant to start a thread a while ago when she did the photo shoot for Observer Woman magagzine. Is she just throwing her rattle out because she didn't get a job she wanted??
Yes.
Yesterday she was saying she backed him.
Now today she isn't. What's happened between now and then?
I think Glenys is fab and Caroline should be ashamed of herself
I was just about to post the same, Tinker.
I think she's being very clear that she didn't the job she wanted and I think she's pointing out very clearly whey she thinks she didn't get it. She's not the first to point out that there are very few women in Brown's inner circle but very few are prepared to say so in public.
Ooh, I just posted the exact same question then saw yours: sorry
I dunno, am depressed about all the women going )though not Hazel obv
Wonder what her offered??? Minister for make-up? (That's not a go at CF, it's a go at him if her offered her a "window-dressing" job)
Thing is, if he is running a two tier govt today, why wasn't he yesterday?
I think she may be telling the truth about that, but why was it OK yesterday as long as she got the job?
Well, quite.
Caroline is an attention seeker and a very naughty girl.
I would say she flounces like an eight year old girl - but that would be insulting to eight year old girls!
Rattle gone overboard bigtime IMO. Whatever her beef is, I imagine if she had got the job she wanted she would have sucked it up.
Caroline Flint may well be indulging in a fit of pique BUT it is true that Gordon does not promote women, by and large. Shocking that we have a very nearly all-male cabinet. In 2009!
She won't be missed.
Glenys Kinnock much more appealing.
Message withdrawn at poster's request.
She's just a sourpuss plus friends with Hazel Blurgh.
As is Cameron - his shadow cabinet is noticeably lacking in women.
