Wrong vaccine given to pupils

As if there isn't enough controversy over vaccinations already, the authorities do something like this

Accident waiting to happen though am afraid. The packaging on those 2 vaccines is virtually identical and the names are so similar!

this is very bad indeed. I assume ( or at least hope) that teenagers will be relatively safe from a vaccine intended for under 5s, but what if it had been the other way around and little toddlers had been given a vaccine meant for 14 year olds ? I dread to think.

My ds1 is allergic to the whooping cough vaccine. That school is very lucky that none of the children in this case had the same reaction to it as ds1 did.

Then again the HV and nurse tried to give ds1 2 shots of MMR in 2 weeks. He had the MMR the 1st week and was called in the following week for the Diptheria & tetanus injection. They had the needle in their hands and luckily dh and I asked if it was the DT they were giving him. "Erm, no. This is the MMR."
