I missed it's brief comeback last year as I wasn't in England.

LazyLinePainterJane Mon 04-Aug-08 08:03:51

Ooooh I hate wisaps, the bubbles are too small!

Where are all the chocoholics, it can't be just two of us who are happy!

rosealbie Mon 04-Aug-08 08:24:29

I'm happy about it too!

Managed to eat just one last time it came back.

Despite my name, I am not actually a chocoholic but I used to like Wispas.

We wont get them over here though.

Good marketing actually, lots of free advertising. Will this be the start of companies taking products of the market to reintroduce them after a consumer "campaign"

MmeLindt - I think it also happened with Heinz Salad Cream - they said they were going to take it off the shelves but of course this generated a huge amount of publicity and it ended up staying.

Yum - I'm excited too!

I love the Wispas and I've just fallen off my chair as they're back on DD's birthday... wonder if she'll fancy a box for her birthday grin

What happened last year - I thought they were "back for good" but then disappeared again...

Twirls have a more intense flavour imo but I do enjoy Wispas - taste slightly milkier imo but I think it is the same chocolate, just different texture?

No, last year was just a test to see how popular it was to see if it was pratical to bring back

mmm that's the 2nd piece of news to make my day! (the 1st being my DH has left me a GIANT cadbury's caramel in the fridge) - just the job after a gruelling 2 hr journey in the rain on the M11 with a whingy toddler.

very good marketing campaign.
Seems to be done with more and more stuff nowadays.
