Tsunami Relief - Can I give clothes to clothes banks

I have sorted my wardrobes out and have got a big bag of stuff ready for giving to Oxfam (quite a lot of which still have tags on )which would sell no problem and another couple of bags which i would only feel happy donating to a clothes bank IYKWIM (eg. a coat with a mark on the side etc). In addition i have other items which are going to Oxfam to sell. Does anyone know whether clothes bank stuff is also going towards tsunami relief?

I think that clothes bank clothes are sorted and sold in the shops, as usual. Money raised will then be sent to projects but I don't think clothes would be sent directly to the area.
