TBH I would try and get a hotel or B&B other wise it may be a roll mat on a school hall floor. Of course everyone will be trying to get accomodation

Apparantly one of the supermarkets has stranded shoppers!! Of all the places to be stranded by floods, you can't get much better than that eh?

Can't get much up to date news. Anyone know what the local radio station is?

Thanks Skribble, they're now in the village hall. Had a cup of tea and a biscuit Brit solution to everything. No blankets or anything to lie on however, but they're just glad to be dry!

WRVS always do tea and biscuits in emergencies, come nuclear war you'll still get tea and biscuits down the church hall honest, they'll be kitted out in anti radiation suits with their pearls on the outside.

my inlaws who stay in evesham while they're over here landed on my doorstep (by bham airport) saying they'd been evacuated from their caravan site on teh banks of the river

to be honest im tempted to look for cheap flights back to spain for them as the weather has been shite since they;'ve been here. Cant imagine what fun they;re having.

your dh and aunt should have called in on us. we have an airbed

im a bit worried about my sisters house. she lives literally over the river from warwick castle and they are on hols. They have a cellar which floods anyway in heavy rain. Anyone know if the river at warwick is flooded? i may go there tomorrow to assess it
