it was chimps not gorillas.
but yes, that's bloody stupid.
they are really dangerous animals. you might be safer in a bear enclosure than in with chimps.

I just re-watched the video of the chimps climbing out.
how the heck did the keepers not check the enclosure before letting the animals out.
