What can we say reallly . I just wondered if this awful incident was on anyone’s mind

It’s one of these events that’s unspeakable really

Senseless

PinkCrystal Wed 13-Dec-17 23:51:48

Yes I find it really upsetting. Unthinkable. That poor family sad

Awwlookatmybabyspider Thu 14-Dec-17 02:01:12

So tragic. I've not been able to get it out of mind. Those beautiful children with all that future ahead of them and that poor mum who probably as of yet has no idea that her world has been completely destroyed, and of course let's not forget about her other 2 children.
The mum (Michelle) lost her partner to cancer a few years back.
They've charged a 23 year old and 20 year women. Only life and I mean life until the day they die not this 15 years nonsense will be sufficient enough justice
RIP little Angelsflowers

AccrualIntentions Thu 14-Dec-17 02:03:59

The thing that really sent a shiver down my spine was when it said on the news that she was in a serious condition hospital and didn't yet know that 4 of her children had died. Just unimaginable.

Battleax Thu 14-Dec-17 02:05:21

How on earth did they get one down the chimney?

It's chillingly determined.

AssassinatedBeauty Thu 14-Dec-17 02:32:36

There was scaffolding up apparently.

The perpetrators have murdered 4 children, badly injured the mother so surely attempted murder plus the two boys that were slightly wounded, so attempted murder x 2 again. If found guilty of all of those surely they'd be in prison for a very very long time.

HerRoyalNotness Thu 14-Dec-17 03:37:39

I just can't understand why someone would do this. What did they think would happen? What kind of vendetta did they have? I can't in a million years imagining doing this to someone.

Dozer Thu 14-Dec-17 10:00:29

Horrifying. Poor young children, the remaining siblings and mum seriously ill in hospital with the worst news awaiting her.

RunningOutOfCharge Thu 14-Dec-17 10:29:17

Horrible. The family had been targeted. Ongoing issues and arguments with people they knew

HalfShellHero Thu 14-Dec-17 11:42:02

i was looking for a thread on this is it 4 people who have been arrested now? its so unspeakably evil

eloisesparkle Thu 14-Dec-17 18:08:22

Just awful.
Man's inhumanity to his fellow man.

PringlesSmoothie Thu 14-Dec-17 18:35:49

Horiffic

Noeuf Thu 14-Dec-17 21:46:18

Running where did you read this? I don't want to think this is a random attack. It's awful, devastating.

RunningOutOfCharge Fri 15-Dec-17 00:03:03

nouf it's been widely reported. Police had fitted extra security due to ongoing threats

Noeuf Fri 15-Dec-17 06:53:35

Oh I'd only heard the radio which referred to arrests and deaths.how utterly horrific.

stopfuckingshoutingatme Fri 15-Dec-17 07:22:25

It makes you wonder who actually woke up and that and said ‘today’s the day . Let’s do this ‘

Do they have any feelings or remorse . What beef can you have with a person to do that ?

I feel for the one surviving teenage kid . What will his future be like now ?
As for the mother .... I think a coma is better than waking up given the horrific news and what being a burns victim entails flowers

For anyone who doesn't know Salford, it has been strife torn for decades. In the 80's there were major issues with rival gang factions fighting drug and territory wars with other parts of the city. Protection racketeers used to go door to door in some areas offering ordinary families "insurance",which really ment if you didnt pay the premium your house would be threatened. There are very few pubs in Salford. They were all driven out of business by gangsters taking them over and taking profits or protection from them.

People lived in fear and still do. NO ONE Grasses as they call it. No one dare tell authorities or the police anything.

This is the kind of thing that happens in Salford

Its unfortunate that innocent people get caught up in such events.

Sometimes if you live by the sword, you die by the sword. Relatives and friends get caught in the crossfire.

Noeuf Fri 15-Dec-17 07:52:58

That is so frightening. I cannot imagine living like that.

PringlesSmoothie Fri 15-Dec-17 08:01:24

Horiffic

Dozer Fri 15-Dec-17 08:04:02

What are you implying about relatives of the victims TDH?

That’s horrible about violent crime in Salford.

Noeuf Fri 15-Dec-17 08:05:26

I read the dad of some of the KIDS was in prison. Maybe they are innocent people caught up in the crossfire? I don't think there was anything unkind implied in that post.

PringlesSmoothie Fri 15-Dec-17 08:16:39

It reminded me of this story www.dailyrecord.co.uk/news/scottish-news/sharkey-murder-trial-two-men-2085515

PinkCrystal Fri 15-Dec-17 10:50:29

Pringles that case is so sad too. How chilling that the perpetrator simply didn't care if the kids died or not.

SinisterBumFacedCat Fri 15-Dec-17 18:27:05

Interview with the grandfather on the BBC was awful, the aunt sat with the youngest child until she died, it's completely destroyed their lives.
