So this new Dr is going to provide a weeks care in the hospice??

Will we have to adjourn to a later date whilst he visits CG at GOSH and reviews his notes??

Thank you.

Have they definitely agreed to hospice care and given up on home plan?

The Judge is in a difficult position I think, as he needs to rule in the child's best interests but that may not be the parent's choice. Very difficult. I hope they decide today though.

I hope the delay isn't too long. Surely while waiting the can be checking out his credentials?

Reposting from end of #17:

The question about the apology to KGQC presumably relates to this tweet from V McA at the end of yesterday's hearing:

Parents barrister Armstrong goes a over to GOSH'a Gollop after Jude leaves saying "just wrong" to have said the time period in open court

Time for a quick dog walk while court is adjourned!

An awful thought - what if Charlie passes whilst in transit ( or is this not possible ?) Who will take the blame?

Why take on such a high profile case for free then?

Partly because it is high profile, partly out of a sense of social responsibility, I suspect. Thank goodness they did: otherwise the parents would be doing all this on their own.

I just lost my rag and tweeted to Catherine Glenn Foster told her how interestingly selective her tweets were - she left out the judge refuting the socialised medicine bollocks. Completely ignored it. Sorry/not sorry.

Yy Sirzy - confirming the credentials surely shouldn't be a huge task. Can't believe it's being held up because a witness can't get there in time

Surely while waiting the can be checking out his credentials?

They haven't got his CV.

Has anyone asked the hospice if they can accommodate them for a week? They weren't offering that, were they?

I am confused...if the family are now agreeing to move to hospice care, why do they need a doctor?

I thought it wasn't possible to have a ventilator long term in a hospice?

Doctor to come, testify to care for Charlie; nurses from Gosh volunteer to stay with Charlie; a ventilator will be provided by a company.

Thing is, it's not just going to be a week today is it? It sounds like Connie wants a week at home/hospice so will it be a week plus time to arrange that?
