Appalling conflict of interests. One of his constituents has started a petition to get him to resign.

And one of his six jobs is Director of the so-called Northern Powerhouse. No conflict of interest there with editing a London-centric paper. He'll be using it as a powerbase to derail Brexit.

He still hasn't got over being sacked from the cabinet by Teresa.

Does he know the first thing of the nuts and bolts of journalism?
Does he know what 350 words of copy looks like without having to do a word count?
Can he condense copy?
Can he apply critical judgement across a range of potential news items?
Does he have a working knowledge of defamation outside the protection of parliamentary privilege?
Can he change a layout with one eye open?
Does he have a creative understanding of fonts/production tools?
I can only imagine that this role is a titular one. Someone with a clue will do the job while he takes the credit!
