The first heterosexual couple to enter a civil partnership in the Isle of Man are in the news. link
The laws have only been changed to allow heterosexual couples the choice of civil partnership or marriage on the Isle of Man, not the UK.
I want to know - does that mean only people from the Isle of Man can do this, or could any UK heterosexual couple just hop over to the Isle of Man to get a civil partnership? Would the UK recognise it?
