Ugh. Is that right, that her former sexual partners gave evidence?

From the words out of his own mouth and his own acknowledged deeds I judge Ched Evans to be a vile creature and he can't escape from that.

To think him and his bike family will now be splashed across pages of hello etc it's just leaves me sick to stomach

How could she give consent when he admitted he didn't speak to her? Vile, vile man!

Report
SpeakNoWords · 14/10/2016 14:54

No actual new evidence, just tales of her sexual activity before and after the incident. Totally irrelevant. Sends a message out to rape victims, best not report your attack unless you have a socially acceptable sexual history.

I'm disappointed. I think he's a revolting person and she must have been through hell because of what he did.
Whatever the verdict, it's pretty clear that he has a disgusting attitude towards women and his behaviour was shameful.

Me too. The whole thing is awful. That poor woman.

It's terrifying that they can use her consensual sexual history in graphic detail in court, to be reported in the papers. Yes justice has to come first but there should be limits to admissibility for that kind of detail.

Report
Scarydinosaurs · 14/10/2016 15:05

I believe her.

What he described himself was rape. Sexual consent requires an enthusiastic YES. You can't do that if you're too inebriated to speak.

Link. Shocked that dictating positions and saying 'go harder' is some sort of unique sexual behaviour that it can be used in evidence.

And wtf is NM on - why hasn't she run screaming for the hills?
