David Cameron back on the job market

David Cameron has decided he doesn't want to be an MP any more. Think he's probably had enough, and he wants Theresa May to be free to do her own thing.

Any suggestion about a potential career path for him? I would suggest:

  1. New host of 'Top Gear'
  2. Role in Poldark, possibly as a neighbouring landowner and rival to Ross.
  3. Running a nice Cotswolds tea shop as we all know Sam Cam is good with baking (she won Celeb Bake Off)

I can't help but wonder if some story is about to come out

Nah, he's just fecked off with losing the referendum and wants to move on. I can see how it would be awkward with him still hanging around while May wants to get on with her new job.

Well seeing as Blair did such a fantastic job bringing peace to the middle East Hmm and he went on to be a middle East envoy I would suggest Dave could either work in the citizens advice bureau as a benefits advisor or maybe as European Unity Representative.

Theresa May was already free to do her own thing Smile She seems to be doing fine regardless of Cameron being an MP.

However for a new career I'd suggest he either uses his persuasive skills in sales, or broadens his horizons and retrains to see how others live.

Car salesman (perhaps with his Cotswolds chum Clarkson)
Double glazing door to door salesman
Steel worker
Bus driver
Nurse
Secondary school teacher
Fisherman

I reckon he's already had an astonishingly well paid job offer & is stepping down to do that instead.

No loyalty to his constituents..

I agree - he's got a nice job offer lined up, so he's off.

He has stepped down in time to send his kids to Eton I expect.

Think he is trying to slowly vanish before the repercussions of leaving the EU hit and he gets criticised for failing to put a clause on ref etc,

Man of leisure.
With 42 mill behind him why work?

Or he could do a Blair and become an envoy. Or do the after dinner circuit.

Wouldn't imagine the two girls would get into Eton...

I can see him taking some non-exec director type positions a few days a month. Sam Cam on the other hand might take hte opportunity to do something completely unexpected.

Hope they pay their taxes whatever their choices are!

Doesn't Sam Cam already have a job at Smythsons? And was she really on Bake Off?!
I predict some consultant type role, or non-exec director as you said, with him getting ever more chubby cheeked and florid on a diet of Chateauneuf and Chateaubriand.

At least he seems to have a strong marriage. But career-wise he's surely toast. He'll be known forever as The Man who Initiated Brexit even though he didn't mean to...

Bizarrely I very nearly started a thread yesterday saying:
Well now it's time to get back to work after the summer holidays, will Cameron get his requested peerage and design.

Workshy shit has run away from the mess he created, sat out the summer recess at the tax payers expense and now he resigns?

Sponging twat

Think the bottom has fallen out of the Pig Fucker trade given Brexit and all.

It hasn't. He'll get and accept a peerage. In the New Year's Honours.
It's a pig's arse of a disgrace.

Hah. Bleating on about loyalty. Great constituency MP, I don't think.

Ah, but that's not pig fucking Giddy. That's the very different and highly skilled trade of Porcus Irrumator. Totally different. Apologies if my pig Latin is not up to scratch.

I once read on here a lovely description of Dave.

He has a face like a freshly wanked cock

I repeat it every time he's on telly, true and makes me laugh.
