Just wondering! How on earth will Princess Prickly cope with younger sister grabbing all the headlines?! Watch out for a new hairstyle or, even, appearing in public a few times.......

harrowgreen Wed 20-Jul-16 18:39:38

My money's on a bump-off.

Not like they have anything else to do with their time....

Kate will win. She's got bigger tiaras and more diamonds.

But Pippa will get her own reality show after she's married : Meet the Matthews - a bit like Keeping up with the Kardashians but with bunting.

I think I'd rather have Catherine's life.
I'm not sure though. Pippa will have greater freedom, but Catherine will be surrounded by adoration.
Mmm.
Which will have the best diamonds?

Puzzledandpissedoff Wed 20-Jul-16 18:53:21

What I want to know is whether Katherine will be matron of honour, or whether some jobsworth will step in and dictate that it's "not appropriate" for a future queen

Whatever folk think about the fuss made they do seem a pretty close family, and I can't help thinking it would be nice

Rather think it wont be protocol for Kate to walk behind Pippa in public. Still, "boss lady" likes to get her own way so I wouldn't bet on it!! At least with the new family Kate wont have to pretend she is royal and will be able to relax a bit. Even with her brass neck it must be scary constantly wondering if she is going to get it wrong.

I live in the "royal triangle" and we hear many things which are not in magazines or press. A lot of us here work within the horsey set and talk is widespread. For what its worth, Pippa is considered much more pleasant and full of herself than her sister. I wish Pippa well.

weirdsister Wed 20-Jul-16 19:34:20

Of course you do op.

user1466200877 Wed 20-Jul-16 19:35:48

should read "much less full of herself"!

Inkanta Wed 20-Jul-16 20:06:59

I hope Pippa doesn't get hurt by this guy.

Inkanta Wed 20-Jul-16 20:15:02

I say that because James Matthews is described as a charismatic playboy. That gives me a sinking feeling. At least with William and Kate you get the feeling they are solid and that Kate is the love of William's life.

ThatsMyStapler Wed 20-Jul-16 20:26:59

What's the 'royal triangle'?

RortyCrankle Wed 20-Jul-16 20:52:08

Looks like her BIL will be Spencer Matthews who is in Made In Chelsea. He's a bit of a lothario but no doubt he will behave himself.

bakeoffcake Wed 20-Jul-16 20:58:20

Oh the Royal Triangle, that explains it all hmm

user1466200877 Wed 20-Jul-16 21:27:36

Cotswolds. Prince Charles at Highgrove, Prinny Anne and Xara at Gatcombe and Prince and Princess Michael just outside Stroud (until they sold up). It is Charles, Camilla and horse country. Princes William and Harry play polo here.

panegyricS1 Wed 20-Jul-16 21:57:57

If I were Pippa, I'd be wondering whether men were interested in me for the wrong reasons. An ambitious man might feel that it would be useful to have William as a BiL. Hopefully this guy is well connected in his own right and genuinely cares for her. She seems like a nice person and she's been discreet wrt her sister.

VanillaSugar Wed 20-Jul-16 22:00:57

Gosh, OP. I didn't know where the Royals love at all...thank you for sharing that information. I have royal connections too.

S'alright. Stand down, girls.

PortiaCastis Wed 20-Jul-16 22:06:20

My Grandmother is very well connected and very wealthy.

VanillaSugar Wed 20-Jul-16 22:12:42

DH has got a family seat.

bakeoffcake Wed 20-Jul-16 22:30:24
