She won't enact Ed's policies. She may share agree with him about some aspects of what the UK should look like but she doesn't agree with him on everything. And, even on those areas where they agree on the goal, they almost certainly don't agree how to get there. They may, for example, both agree that the UK needs great entrepreneurs but I doubt they agree on how to get them.
Personally I don't think Ed would have been as competent as Theresa May will be either.
