Don't know what to believe anymore, or who to believe. So much is orchestrated.

Glad to hear it.

1112aa, I wondered about that.

Very interesting that the people who are linked to this revolting cesspit are all dead. Or are dead very soon after.

I assume that the stink leads to people who are both alive and still very powerful. I'm not sure that Sir Cliff is either of those.

Thank god, never for a moment believed he was guilty. Poor man, he should never have been subjected to that kind of treatment. I personally know a pedophile who harmed a child, he was never named in the news, media or anywhere else, the only people who knew his name was the officers and family protection unit workers and medical examiners involved. There was more than ample evidence to convict him and he walked free because the very young child's testimony wasn't thought to be reliable. Still makes the rage erupt out of me, and when an innocent man is dragged through the dirt like what's happened in this case while real and genuine molesters and pedophiles can walk around anonymous is beyond disgusting.

I'm not surprised. Sad

Whatever happens I don't think any living famous UK person will ever be investigated again for sexual offences which took place more than 10 years ago. The damages the CPS will probably end up paying will mean a financial risk to great to investigate. I wonder if he will try and sue his accusers like Freddie star did.
And this will change the law somehow 100% sure.

Hi all,

Many thanks for the reports about this thread.

It is very much in the news and we are happy for you discuss the article linked to in the OP but please avoid speculation on events. So far, no one has been convicted of anything.

Many thanks.

Wowee, I didn't think anything that anyone had said was bad at all! That's quite the mass deletion!

1122aa why will the CPS need to pay damages? They have a duty to decide whether any cases can be successfully pursued. They can't just say 'we don't believe it so well not bother'. They've done nothing wrong.

The damage has been done. The 'no smoke without fire' rumours will follow him round forever.

Mum I think it's the 'I believe her unless we're talking about a national treasure/much loved celebrity'

The rumours (if that's what they are) have been around for years. On the net and off. I've even seen them on here years ago.

You have no idea if that is what has happened with this case.
