4000 children aged 5 upwards caring for parent

I saw this in a newspaper recently. Pictures of 5 year olds washing dishes
and carrying shopping. They care mainly for a parent who has health probs
or abusing substances. Apparently the cuts have removed a large number
of homehelps. This is child abuse. Appalling.
