Helicopter gone missing in Blackpool this evening? Have I got this right?

I have just been in the shower listening to radio - news was on and I'm sure I got the tail end of a story of a helicopter missing in Blackpool somewhere. 6/7 people missing. They are searching a 20 mile radius.
Anyone local heard anymore about this story?

It was workers from an oil rig from what I heard of it. They have already recovered 5 bodies, still searching for other 2.

oh no. the exact same thing happened here a coule of years ago coming in to Great yarmouth off the rigs. its awfull.

yes it is horrible. My dh flies out out to his gas rig tomorrow. You just have to block the dangers out of you mind or you would be forever worrying.

There is a news conference on sky news now. We live nearby to the heliport and we have often gone to meet dh when he lands. Its scary when you see how small the helicopters are. They are flying over where we live all the time. We have actually stood on the beach and watched dh fly out to sea.
He has done all the survival training and has worked offshore for over 20 years but in situations like this the training is just no help. I feel so badly for the families.
