Boy stabbed at school has died

Oh my God! this is awful. A boy was stabbed today at a school just outside Aberdeen. Reports say he was only 15. Now twitter is saying he has died.

It's like saying an incident in South Croydon happened near Buckingham Palace. The area the school is in is lovely but not exclusively upmarket. The catchment area for the school covers a huge area, some parts most certainly not upmarket.

Heard about this on the local news. A 16 years old boy was stabbed and has since died in hospital, and another 16 year old boy has been charged with murder. Such a dreadfully sad situation - two lives gone really.

And the investigation is a murder enquiry.

I also have two teenage DSs, one at college and one at school. We know, and to some degree accept, that this can be a dangerous world but at school? No, we expect them to be safe at school & come home each day.

The name of the guy rumoured to have been arrested is known locally also. His family will already be known to the police before today, apparently.

I had the radio on at work and heard Scottish secondary and 16 year old boy and I swear my heart stopped. Thankfully not my 16 year old boy and not his school, but some poor family is facing that horror tonight. I can't imagine how they are dealing with this
