Obese women should not exercise according to latest study

Story here .
Well, I personally think a healthier balanced diet with smaller portion sizes (which is relative I know) combined with exercise (e.g. going for a 10 minute walk is exercise) is the key to avoiding obesity.

i agree with cd - it says don't diet, eat sensibly & exercise (common sense really!).

oh bugger ,i am officially obese according to the bmi index thingy ,although almost on verge of just being overweight (hurrah) and ive started running ,thought i could give it up then for a minute!

See my Mom is obese speedymama and her doctor keeps trying to get her to go to the gym. Please. She is too embarrased. I think a 10 min of excercise a day is the perfect way to start.
