She is an inspirational and selfless woman, particularly when you consider the sacrifice she made in deciding not to have her own children.

I listened to an interview with her today and she sounded so calm and generous, truly inspiring about the work she does.

Yes, such an amazing woman-she was on Desert Island Discs a few weeks back and she is very inspirational.

There was an interview with her in the Observer yesterday too. She really is amazing. Very inspiring.

I was at school with her - we all called her Batman - she was truly wonderful and warm and entertaining and enthusiastic and a fabulous artist. A great woman.

I am so pleased that she's being recognised for the work she's done. And hopefully govt will listen to what she's got to say. what am I thinking...fat chance!)
